Every session begins with an initial consultation, either over the phone or through digital communications. I like to get to know my clients a little, know what their expectations are, and also ensure we are a good fit for working together with the same goals in mind. I have a questionnaire that covers everything I need to know, including the due date, names of family members if they attend, and information I need to start planning your session. It includes what colors, styles, and imagery you are drawn to and what products you are interested in. And if you are interested, we can set a time for you to visit the studio to get a better idea and feel for the products I offer and what the final outcomes of your session will look like.
A non-refundable session fee of $200 is required to book your session. Sessions are best during the 32-34 week stage of pregnancy. At this stage, you will have more energy than in the last few weeks, and your belly should be distinguished well. If you're having multiples, we may want to schedule a bit earlier, depending on how you are carrying.
The fun part! Sessions are 45 minutes long. Bring multiple outfits or come ready to be bare as I create a beautiful look with fabric. Tossing and letting it blow in the breeze to create stunning portraits highlighting your belly.
*Ask me about my maternity gown program. Must book five weeks in advance for shipping.
The photos have been taken individually and carefully looked at, lightly edited, and are ready to be shown. My client's favorite part of the entire experience is getting to see their beautiful images for the first time.
Your Viewing/Ordering appointment will be scheduled 1-2 weeks after the session. This is where you’ll have the opportunity to choose the photographs to be fully edited and choose what you would like to have as prints, albums, canvas, or a variety of other handcrafted photo products I offer. This is your time to ask questions, place orders, and get excited about your images.
