HOW IT WORKS
STEP ONE
Every session begins with an initial consultation to learn more about your senior. This is done either over the phone or through digital communications. I like to get to know my clients a little, know their expectations, and ensure we are a good fit for working together with the same goals in mind. I have a questionnaire that covers everything I need to know, including the high school he/she attended, the year, plans for after graduation, and any information I need to start planning your session. It includes what colors, styles, and imagery you are drawn to and what products interest you. And if you are interested, we can set a time for you to visit the studio to get a better idea and feel for the products I offer and what the outcomes of your session will look like.
STEP TWO
A non-refundable session fee of $200 is required to book your session. Senior sessions can be held in my Bonsall Studio or outdoors. Here in Southern California, we have so many options to create beautiful backdrops for our imagery. Session times will vary slightly depending on location. I will scout out the best hour of lighting for the session beforehand and adjust as needed.
STEP THREE
The fun part! You're all dressed up and looking sharp! Sessions are approximately 45 minutes. I love getting a variety of looks in each session. The traditional poses and candid shots of your senior having fun and relaxing. Of course, I encourage any ideas and poses you may have.
STEP FOUR
The photos have been taken individually and carefully looked at, lightly edited, and are ready to be shown. My client's favorite part of the entire experience is seeing their beautiful images for the first time. Your Viewing/Ordering appointment will be scheduled 1-2 weeks after the session. This is where you’ll have the opportunity to choose the photographs to be fully edited and choose what you would like to have as prints, albums, canvas, or a variety of other handcrafted photo products I offer. This is your time to ask questions, place orders, and get excited about your images.

WHEN SHOULD I BOOK?
Anytime during your High School Seniors' senior year. As soon as you know you're ready to book, do so! Session times will vary slightly depending on location and time of year. If an outdoor location is desired, I will scout out the best hour of lighting for the session beforehand and adjust as needed.
WHAT WILL I NEED FOR MY SESSION?
Just the senior. Hobbies and sports are always fun to incorporate into a session. If your high schooler plays a sport or musical instrument or has a hobby with an item that can be used as a prop, I encourage bringing it. Pick your clothing to complement your location and season of choice. There are so many beautiful locations here in Southern California, and we have many options to create beautiful backdrops for our imagery.
HOW MUCH WILL I INVEST IN PROFESSIONAL PORTRAITS?
Prices range depending on your photographic needs. Most clients invest between $600 and $2000 for their portrait collection. We offer both full-resolution digital collections and heirloom-quality printed art pieces.
We are a full-service studio which means your portraits can be printed and framed, wrapped in canvas, or arranged in a beautiful heirloom album.
